Alhambra defines a short‑term rental as a dwelling unit shared or rented for less than 30 days. All operators must obtain a business license and a short‑term rental (STR) permit; beginning 3 March 2025, permits will be issued on a first‑come basis and the city will issue a maximum of 500 STR permitshttps://www.alhambraca.gov/814/Short-Term-Rental-Regulations#:~:text=What%20is%20a%20short.
